Retirement

In the past 3 weeks since my retirement from nucor, I have been to the St george arts festival,(Mayors choice award) !!! What a great city. Then I made a solo trip to sedona az. To drop off sculptures to the goldenstein Gallery. They are selling my work very well, thanks Linda and crew!!! With my trailer empty, I made stops in Kingman for metal treasures,Provo for Stone (Thanks John&ruby for Lunch) My truck was working harder coming home than it was going full of sculptures. what a packrat!!!! Since my arrival home I have been busy preparing for the summer season,Logan& saltlake farmers markets, summerfest in logan, Park city arts festival, hopefully the jackson hole arts festival, and the utah arts festival. But the most exciting thing I have done in the past three weeks is spend more time with Ryan and Dianne!!!!!!!! It is so awesome to be home creating and loving them!!!!!!!!

Retirement!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks

After 29 years 8 months 12 days and some odd hours this wednesday March 24th I will officially retire from the amazing Steel mill I have worked at Since I was 17 YO. It has been an Amazing ride filled with Joys, Fears, Sadness,Frustrations and Friendships. When I drive out the Gate for the Final Time It will be with Relief  that this Chapter of my life is safely over as over the years I have had many close calls with injury and even Death, I have been through a Hernia surgery, Knee Surgery, A broken Back (Not work related) Countless Strains and Sprains, More Burns Than I can Remember, But through it all I love Nucor Steel Plymouth, She Has blessed my Life and my familys as well. No Regrets It is Time to create the Best Sculptures ever!! let the creating begin, I want to say Thanks to all my friends at nucor and to let them Know I will miss seeing them on a daily basis, I wish you all the Best And please stay safe.   Love, Muggins
